MAN CITY, MAN UNITED AND CHELSEA ALL TO WIN AT 11/4!
Recent Form
Man Utd’s midweek defeat to PSG leaves them needing a result in their final group game away at RB Leipzig, but they were hampered by Fred’s sending off and Anthony Martial had a couple of chances to join Marcus Rashford on the scoresheet.
They had won four on the trot before that result as they scored at least three times against Everton, Istanbul Basaksehir and Southampton, though that goal threat could potentially be dampened here with Marcus Rashford a doubt following a shoulder complaint.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does have better news elsewhere with players returning to the fold, and with that clash with Leipzig to come next week he’ll surely make some changes here. Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial all returned to the matchday squad on Wednesday, but the timing of this fixture does suit the Hammers.
Aside from Andriy Yarmolenko, David Moyes has a fully fit squad and will have been pleased to see Michael Antonio return from a hamstring injury against Aston Villa last week.
Victory in that game was somewhat fortuitous as Ollie Watkins missed a penalty and had a late strike overturned by VAR, but it means West Ham have won three on the trot.
However, with each of these coming by one-goal margins, as the other two wins were claimed over struggling outfits Fulham and Sheffield Utd, we’d be cautious of their chances here.
Both Teams To Score
The Hammers have enjoyed a couple of standout results already this season over Wolves (4-0) and Leicester (3-0), while they’ve also managed a pair of stalemates with Tottenham and Man City.
They did suffer defeats away at Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as Everton in the League Cup, but they did still find the net in all of these games.
It is however hard to ignore Man Utd’s record away from home. They’re unbeaten in 11 league trips since February now, winning each of the past eight as they scored at least twice in every game across this winning streak.
In fact, they’ve scored at least three times in each of their past four trips to Brighton, Newcastle, Everton and Southampton, though they did concede in each of these most recent away days.
Bruno Fernandes To Score Anytime
Bruno Fernandes has scored six times in Man Utd’s last five games, with only one of those from the penalty spot, as PSG were the sole side to keep him at bay.
In the league alone he’s bagged seven goals from their past eight matches, finding the net in six of these games as only Chelsea and Arsenal denied him.
Both Teams To Score (Yes) At 8/13
Bruno Fernandes To Score Anytime At 7/5
