Leeds don’t have any relegation concerns, but they’re going through a slight rough patch as they’ve lost seven of 11 outings in all competitions, with all but one of these in the league.

They’ve now gone 19 games without a draw as it’s all or nothing for Marcelo Bielsa’s men, and an impressive West Ham look a good price for the win at odds-against.

The Hammers made Man City sweat for the points in their last outing and with over a week’s rest before this fixture, should have little problem managing Michail Antonio’s hamstring issues.

They do have injury concerns elsewhere though with Andriy Yarmolenko, Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku sidelined, while Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolph are all doubts too.

The goalkeeper situation isn’t ideal as Fabianski would be a big miss, while Randolph is the back-up option, meaning David Martin could be handed a rare appearance here.

The 35-year-old had a brief spell in the first team last season with mixed success, but although not a top-level goalkeeper, should be solid enough to avoid any major blunders.

Leeds also have their own injury concerns, most notably summer signing Rodrigo and England international Kalvin Phillips, both of whom face a race against time to be fit for this clash.

The latter’s absence has been felt in particular as they’ve lost six of eight matches he’s missed this season, shipping as many as four times in three of those defeats, as they’ve both scored more and conceded fewer goals when he takes to the field.

West Ham/West Ham HT/FT

West Ham have won seven of their past 10 league outings, only losing to Man City and Liverpool, while their record against bottom-half teams is strong this season.

Since losing to Newcastle on the opening day, David Moyes’ men have won eight of 12 unbeaten matches, leading at both half time and full time in four of the past five.

By contrast, Leeds have lost seven of their last eight against top-half sides, trailing at both half time and full time in five of the past six.

In fact, they’ve conceded first in seven of their last 10 league games against anyone, as well as each of their past six with those top-half sides as the first goal came inside 30 minutes.

West Ham To Beat Leeds

Leeds’ gung-ho approach can on occasion pay dividends, but more often than not it leads to them conceding too many chances when facing the better, more clinical sides.

West Ham have won four of their past five at home in the league, with the exception that defeat to Liverpool, and can keep up their assault on a top-four place in this game.
