West Ham find themselves in unfamiliar territory as they currently occupy fifth spot in the Premier League table, having been 14th, 15th and 18th at this stage in the previous three seasons.
Having gone W3-D3 since their opening day demolition at the hands of champions Man City, Manuel Pellegrini is relishing having a near full squad back in contention for starting spots. Crystal Palace are faring rather well under Hodgson too.

That’s especially the case seeing as Roy Hodgson will have to travel north without his captain Luka Milivojevic.
In the five games the Serb has failed to start since his arrival back in January 2017, Palace have lost three times (60%), against Sunderland, Burnley and Southampton, while that reduces to defeats in just 41% of the 94 he’s started.
Moreover, they missed his organizational and leadership qualities when he was left out of the squad in the League Cup as they crashed out on penalties to Colchester.

On those recent injury returns, Yarmolenko has been on fire since his return and has scored three goals in his last four outings, including the opener in each of the last two. In a game where goals will be hard to come by, the odds on the Ukrainian to bag the first again looks extremely tantalising.
