LIVERPOOL, WOLVES AND CHELSEA ALL TO WIN AT 7/1 HERE!

Wolves were left a tad short at the back in their Premier League stalemate at St James’ Park at the weekend, with captain Conor Coady joined in a back three by right-back/wing-back Matt Doherty and defensive midfielder Romain Saiss, with regular partners Ryan Bennet and key man Willy Boly unavailable.
Meanwhile, Villa, were downed by reining Premier League champions Man City, though they did hold them off until second half and won’t be too disheartened by the final result.
Nuno Espirito Santo will certainly be feeling the pressure of his sides’ current fixture load this term. The League Cup will certainly be at the bottom of his priorities list with his side ticking along nicely in Europa League, while their results in the Premier League have picked up with five consecutive unbeaten outings.

Nuno will be conscious of Wolves’ trip to the Emirates at the weekend and some rotation may be necessary to maintain the freshness of the squad. Indeed, his charges relied on penalties to get past Reading in the last round of this competition, and with the Royals currently residing outside the Championship’s relegation zone on goal difference, Wolves can no doubt expect their next opponents to be a step up in quality.
The Clarets had won three of four unbeaten outings prior to their trip to the Etihad, breezing past both Norwich (5-1) and Brighton (3-1) on the road, while drawing and beating Burnley and Brighton respectively at Villa Park.
Of course, Dean Smith will have one eye on their tough fixture with Liverpool on Saturday, but he’ll want to go far in this competition having already beaten both Crewe Alexandra and the Seagulls, leaving them with a huge opportunity to reach the quarter-finals.

Looking at Wolves’ domestic results on the road they’ve hardly been exceptional. They’ve gone W1-D3-L1 from their five such trips this term and although that sole victory came against the Citizens, they’ve built a reputation for finding an extra gear when it comes to ‘Big Six’ sides and have struggled to get over the finish line in these types of games.
In fact, travelling to promoted teams last term they lost to Cardiff 2-1 and had to rescue a stalemate late on against Fulham. With that in mind, we fancy this one to finish all square as that has also been the case in two of the hosts’ last three outings at Villa Park, while they only just saw off Brighton in their last outing here thanks to a 94th-minute winner by Matt Targett.
