Although Champions League qualification might be a stretch too far for Spurs, they’ll be excited about playing in front of their fans for the first time since December when they beat North London rivals Arsenal.

That is a mightily impressive home record considering fans haven’t been present for the large majority, and when you consider the only teams they dropped points against were Leicester, Fulham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd over that period, we’d expect them to put on another showing.
Spurs To Win 2-1 Or 3-1
Dean Smith’s men have lost all eight of their encounters with the breakaway top seven sides in the league this year, as six of those saw more than two goals in and we wouldn’t expect them to improve on that this week.
They have scored in all but two of their 12 such games against that bracket of opposition this term though, losing 2-1 or 3-1 in six of the last eight and it might be worth having a flutter on one of those scorelines occurring, especially with Jack Grealish back in the mix too.
Spurs To Win And Over 2.5 Goals
The bet of the game looks to be in backing the Spurs to win and there to be more than two goals, with that occurring in four of the hosts’ last five here against teams outside the top seven, as they netted four goals against all of Burnley, Palace and Sheffield Utd.
We would expect Villa to put in a better defensive performance than those sides, but nonetheless, the visitors have seen a minimum of three goals in seven of their last eight matches and we’d be surprised to see this one go ‘Unders’.
