These two sides hold different ambitions this season and whereas Swansea have risen to second place in the Championship table, Nottingham Forest are hovering near the relegation zone and trying to put some distance between themselves and the four teams below.
Both sides arrive with decent form behind them. Swansea have won five of six unbeaten games as they conceded just one goal, against fellow promotion contenders Watford, while they scored twice in five of these matches as well, with four finishing 2-0.

Swansea comfortably possess the Championship’s best defensive record and there was only one goal when these two met at the City Ground in November as the Welsh side ran out winners.
Moreover, their last two tussles at the Liberty Stadium have yielded a combined solitary strike, so a single goal should be enough for the Swans to sail through to the next round.
