Rangers will be on a real high after a mammoth 2-0 win over Old Firm rivals Celtic at the weekend, continuing their excellent start to the season. Indeed, a narrow 1-0 defeat to a strong Leverkusen outfit in the delayed Europa League matches in August remains their sole loss since the restart.
Aside from that result they’ve won 12 of 14 unbeaten games and registered 11 clean sheets, winning to nil in 10 of them, while Hibernian are the only side to put more than a single strike past them.

That impregnable defence leaves them with an excellent chance at getting something from this clash and their performances on the continent under Steven Gerrard have been consistently good.
