Newcastle worked hard to come from behind twice to earn a 2-2 draw hosting Man City at the weekend, but Sheffield Utd’ seven stalemates this season is only second to Wolves’ eight, as they’ve proven a tough nut to crack with only three teams able to get the better of them so far.
The Blades are now unbeaten in seven outings, but they’ve struggled to extract maximum points and have had to settle for a draw in four of their last five.

However, given they’ve only lost once in their last five home or away, while stalemates have been occurring with increasing regularity in Sheffield Utd’s matches, the draw offers better odds than the home win.

Although the Blades have failed to win too many games of late, they’ve been more effective at the sharp end as they’ve improved their output in recent weeks.
Whereas they netted just seven goals across their opening seven games, they’ve managed 10 in the subsequent six as they’ve scored in each.
Leading marksman Lys Mousset has led the charge with four goals and three assists in their past six matches and appears the pick of the bunch to register at some stage.

As a consequence, both teams have scored in four of their last five outings, while the same has also occurred in four of the Magpies’ last five matches too.
Both teams have found the net in six of Sheffield Utd’s seven stalemates this term, as has been the case in seven of Newcastle’s eight draws dating back into last December.
