These two sides only met a few weeks ago as they played out a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park, while they’ll meet in the league at the beginning of May.

However, both of those fixtures were on home turf, while Rangers’ backline won’t be so easy to breach.
The Hoops’ previous five encounters all saw fewer than three goals, with a total of just five strikes across these, while including those latest results, at least one side has failed to score in six of their last seven appearances.
Under 2.5 Goals
Under 2.5 goals appeals a little more than one side or the other drawing a blank though, with a 1-1 draw a distinct possibility.
The Gers haven’t been quite as tight defensively of late with just three clean sheets in 10 matches now, and a solitary shutout in five as even that came against League One’s second-placed outfit Cove Rangers.
Still, this game will take place at Ibrox, where Rangers have been especially good at denying their opponents this term.
In the league alone, 17 home fixtures have seen them concede on just three occasions, with the Gers emerging victorious every time by an aggregate 49-3 scoreline.
Gerrard does have some injury concerns ahead of this clash with James Tavernier, Leon Balogun and Ryan Jack all absent, which combined with Celtic’s uptick in form, puts us off backing them to take the win.
However, there are options to replace the latter in midfield, while it’s a toss-up as to whether Balogun or Filip Helander should be key man Connor Goldson’s partner at centre-back when everyone is fit.
In addition, Nathan Patterson will be available at right-back to cover the loss of captain Tavernier, despite facing a six-match ban for a Covid-19 protocol breach, as his appeal is being heard after this game.
