Palace certainly didn’t expect to find themselves up in sixth place after eight games of the season, just two points shy of Man City. Moreover, Roy Hodgson’s men will have fond memories of their trip to the Etihad last season as the only side to take points off Pep Guardiola’s side there – let alone win.

The away win on its own is to be avoided at the prices, though there may be some value in coupling it with a consolation effort for Hodgson’s side.
The Eagles have only failed to find the net once in their last six outings, while as many as five teams have shipped fewer goals than the Citizens this term.
The absence of key centre-back Aymeric Laporte has clearly hindered them, and in the four games in which he’s played no part, City have conceded six times as their sole clean sheet was registered in their 8-0 home win over a dismal Watford.

Both teams have scored in five of Palace’s last seven matches against the ‘Big Six’, including a 3-1 defeat in this fixture last term, with the Eagles conceding an average of 2.7 goals across these games.
Given Palace have already shipped four goals away at Spurs and conceded in their 2-1 win over a Man Utd side that have struggled for output this season, we’d expect both sides to register at some stage.
Meanwhile, with that recent average Palace have conceded, a repeat 3-1 outcome appeals at the prices against the divisions’ most potent attack.
