Wolves have experienced some mixed results since the turn of the year, though a slight improvement has taken place and they’re now W4-D3-L2 since mid-January.
Two of the stalemates came against Man Utd and Leicester, while one of the defeats was inflicted by Liverpool, as the other loss came in their near dead-rubber second leg at Espanyol in the last round of this competition.
Nuno’s side do however need to improve upon their away form, having gone W4-D5-L5 since late October, with those victories obtained domestically over bottom-seven outfits Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich, as well as an out-of-form Spurs side missing both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
They face an Olympiakos side reeling from a first leg defeat in the Greek Cup a week ago against PAOK, though with an eight-day turnaround from that fixture to this one, they should certainly be the fresher side.
Indeed, Wolves don’t have the biggest squad considering they’re fighting in both the league and in Europe, as only League One outfits Oxford and Portsmouth have played more games this season in England.
They looked a bit sluggish at the weekend hosting Brighton – who are yet to win in 2020 so far – as there was only one shot on target in each half of a goalless draw.

Having won the Greek league title in 19 of 21 seasons from 1996/97 to 2016/17, Olympiakos have come up short in the past two years, but lead the standings in the current campaign by seven points as they remain unbeaten.

They were impressive as they dispatched Arsenal at the Emirates last month, with both legs of that tie goalless at the break, and with this game set to take place behind closed doors owing to Coronavirus, their won’t be any atmosphere to in the stadium to spur one team or the other to take the initiative.
Prior to Arsenal’s trip to the Etihad on Wednesday, no side has drawn more Premier League matches this term than Wolves, while across all competitions each of the midland club’s past six stalemates have seen Draw/Draw HT/FT land.
