Spain Recent Form
Spain are coming to the fore under new manager Robert Moreno, who has won all five of his games in charge as both interim and permanent head coach, seeing his side score 15 goals and concede just two along the way.
However, those concessions both came on their travels against Romania and more worryingly the Faroe Islands, as the other road trip was to minnows Malta.
Still, home or away, that leaves La Roja with victories in all seven matches in the aftermath of the Nations League, including a 2-1 victory in the reverse of this fixture in Valencia back in March.
You can only beat the teams in front of you, but those five victories under Moreno have come against fairly limited quality.
They produced a 3-0 home win over Sweden (14th) and a 2-1 away win versus Romania (28th) – their highest ranked opposition according to FIFA at the time of these fixtures – while wins over the Faroe Islands (twice) and Malta were more than expected.
Norway (47th) come as something of a middle ground between Spain’s five opponents in this group and are aptly placed fourth out of six in Group F.

Amazingly, Norway have won nine of 13 unbeaten home games since losing to Germany in the World Cup qualifiers back in 2016.
However, it should be noted that their four draws came against the hardest teams they’ve faced in the shape of Sweden (twice), Romania and the Czech Republic, none of whom can hold a candle to the talents possessed by Spain.

With that in mind, we fully expect the visitors to make it seven wins from as many games in this group, though we’re reluctant to back Moreno’s men outright at the prices.
Norway have a batch of talent in their current ranks, despite having 18-goal striker Erling Haaland absent with a hip injury.
The likes of Bournemouth’s Josh King, Sociedad’s Martin Odegaard and Sander Berge from Genk all have bundles of talent and can cause any side issues.
Their squad has come up trumps too as they have scored in each of their last 10 fixtures and have seven strikes in their last three home matches against Sweden, Romania and Malta.
We’ll get behind them to find the net again here, though we still see this Spain side coming up trumps and we’re happy to back the same outcome as the last time these two sides met.
