CHELSEA, MAN UNITED AND PSG ALL TO WIN AT 3/1
Recent Form
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still looking for his first home win of the season, and with Leipzig and Arsenal as their next two home games there’s every chance this winless home run extends further into the campaign.
In fact, despite winning nine away games on the bounce, the Reds Devils have only won one of their last matches at Old Trafford across all competitions and Leipzig are a very difficult team to face regardless of form.
The German club currently sit top of the Bundesliga after four wins from five unbeaten matches. That record extends to six from seven in all competitions, as even despite Timo Werner leaving for Chelsea in the summer, they’ve managed to score at least twice in six of those victories.
Their 16 goals so far this season have come via 10 different scorers, with their wingback Angelino popping up with the most so far and that danger from all angles could cause what can be a shaky Man United backline some issues.
Leipzig Draw No Bet
While Man United won each of their five home European games last season by an aggregate scoreline of 15-1, that was in the Europa League and the German League leaders are a different kettle of fish to what they faced last year and we’d be inclined to ignore that record based on recent form.
Wins over Newcastle and PSG, as well as a draw hosting Chelsea have given Ole Gunnar Solskjaer more time at the helm as he was dropped to favourite for the sack after their 6-1 home defeat to Spurs, though impressive as the win in Paris was, they left it late in both games to pick up all three points and they can’t rely solely on Marcus Rashford or Bruno Fernandez to get them the points all the time.
It’s surprising to see the German side as long as they are considering the respective starts to the season for both clubs, while Old Trafford without fans doesn’t seem to be helping the hosts out too much so far this season.
The winner here will maintain their 100% start to the group, and at the prices it looks well worth siding with the visitors, though a ‘draw no bet’ seems the more reserved move in getting them onside.
