A spectacular summer for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen him bring in a number of big names to kick on from their second-place finish last term.
Having lost just as many games as Man City over the 38 gameweeks, there are plenty of positives for the Red Devils to take from that campaign, not to mention a runner-up finish in the Europa League.
Leeds were a breath of fresh air in the Premier League last season. Following a 16-year absence, Marcelo Bielsa got the Whites back into the top flight and they certainly didn’t disappoint.
Ninth place is nothing to sniff at and considering they lost just one of their final six matches against the top six finishers last term, they’ll fancy their chances of at least a point this weekend.

The hosts have struggled to get out the starting blocks in the league in recent campaigns, being down in 14th and 13th after eight games in the last two seasons, while 3-1 and 6-1 defeats at Old Trafford in their opening two games to Palace and Spurs respectively will still be in their memories.
It was only in their fifth attempt here against a poor West Brom outfit that they managed to get off the mark, and although the lack of fans may have hindered that record slightly, this certainly won’t be plain sailing for the Manchester club.
Bielsa’s men were somewhat unpredictable in the 2020/21 campaign, winning back to back matches on three occasions over the opening 28 gameweeks.
One thing that did remain consistent in the amount of goals they produced in their games at the start of the season, seeing more than two goals in 10 of the first 12 trips, averaging 4.17 goals per game, and against what was a temperamental defence for the Red Devils last season at this stadium, we’d expect goals to be on the agenda.
Of course, Solskjaer has the likes of Raphael Varane to call upon this time around, he’ll almost certainly not be involved this weekend, while only six clean sheets from their 19 matches in the league here last term, we wouldn’t expect that record to drastically change from the outset.
