It’s worrying times in the Southampton camp after they suffered a record-equalling Premier League defeat of 9-0 against Leicester, which was in turn the largest ever away win.
That leaves manager Ralph Hasenhuttl under a huge amount of pressure as his price was slashed by the bookies from 12/1 to as short as 2/1 to be the next club to part ways with their leader, and the last thing the Austrian needed was back-to-back away fixtures with Man City.

Meanwhile, the Saints will be without Ryan Bertrand following his red card at the weekend. Whereas City have deep resources, Bertrand’s absence is likely to be more integral for the Saints with the full-back so crucial to the way they play. Hasenhuttl is also without another full-back in Cedric Soares, so centre-back Kevin Danso will have to fill in at left-back.

We fancy a big win for the hosts in this one. In six matches at the Etihad across all competitions since late August, five of them saw the Citizens win by two or more goals.
Excluding their defeat to Wolves, who have made a habit of competing well with the big guns over the past couple of years, City won the other five outings by an aggregate 22-1 scoreline.

With goals on the cards we’ll have a flutter on a scorer too. The Citizens will likely start Riyad Mahrez on the right wing in this one seeing as he sat on the sidelines against Villa, and the Algerian international has had a say in 11 goals across his 12 appearances this term.
That includes eight from his last six starts (five assists and three goals), while he also netted a brace against Colombia in the recent international break and looks great value at odds-against to be amongst the goals again up against such a porous defence.
