A perfect start to the 2020/21 campaign for Luton sees them into this League Cup third round after victories over both Norwich and Reading, while they’re also two from two in the Championship having faced Barnsley and Derby.
That’s a huge step in the right direction having finished way down in 19th place in the league last season with just 14 wins, though this next fixture will no doubt be their toughest test yet.

The Red Devils haven’t exactly been ruthless against lower league opposition in this tournament down the years either, going just W2-D2-L1 against such teams since the start of 2017/18, as although both their victories came by three-goal margins, they each occurred at Old Trafford.
Indeed, the only such match on the road came at Bristol when losing 2-1, and although we doubt we’ll see this Luton side overturn them, they look to have the confidence and ability to take the game to the visitors.
James Collins To Score Anytime
The hosts have a full bill of health and the key man is certainly going to be James Collins. The Striker has been their top scorer for the last two seasons, while he’s already got four goals from his three appearances this term, including a hat trick against the Canaries here in this competition.
He looks a huge price given how poor United looked at the weekend, and although Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s men will more than likely come out on top, we’re struggling to see how their defence is going to keep a clean sheet for the first time after what we saw on Saturday.
