However, he may prefer to pack the midfield against Man City, which could see one of Darwin Nunez or Roberto Firmino miss out in attack. Either way, his high-line defensive tactics will have Erling Haaland salivating at the prospect of adding more goals to his collection.
Pep Guardiola’s concerns are limited to defenders John Stones and Kyle Walker, as well as summer signing Kalvin Phillips, who has barely featured this season and wouldn’t have started ahead of Rodri in any case. Haaland To Score Anytime
With a strong output seemingly an inevitability, Haaland simply can’t be ignored to continue his run. He’s hit a ridiculous 20 goals in just 13 games this season, with 15 from nine in the league alone.
He may have misfired in the Community Shield, but he’s already scored against Liverpool when playing for Salzburg, while he’s only failed to score on one other occasion this season as City ran out 4-0 winners over Bournemouth as he claimed an assist.
