Given the pressure Liverpool will be under, with a victory the only way to really be sure of finishing above Leicester, we’d expect another workmanlike performance.

Their attack has taken a blow as the highly promising Eberechi Eze faces eight months on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles in training, but Christian Benteke has stepped up in the final stretch and has been in great goalscoring form. Indeed, seven of his 10 goals this season have come since February, including strikes in each of Palace’s last four outings.
