Leicester are enduring a tough time at the minute having drawn at home to Aston Villa in the League Cup, before suffering back-to-back defeats against Southampton and Burnley, despite taking the lead in both.

Harvey Barnes’ 33rd-minute opener against the latter was cancelled out by Chris Wood’s second-half leveler, but when Jamie Vardy put the ball on the penalty spot a short while later you felt like the game would almost certainly go one way.

However, a fine save from Nick Pope saw Burnley’s tails go up and they went on to net a winner through Ashley Westwood, ending a run of four straight defeats for Sean Dyche’s men.

West Ham have now gone W2-D1-L1 across all competitions since the arrival of David Moyes as they earnt a point hosting Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton outfit last time out.

Leicester To Win 2-1

However, in the league alone the Hammers have gone W3-D2-L10 from their 15 outings since October, as six of those defeats came by exactly one-goal margins, including the reverse fixture in their final game of 2019.

In fact, the tussles between these two have been tight down the years and since 2015, both sides have netted in nine of 11 fixtures across all competitions, as the Foxes hold a slightly advantageous record of W6-D4-L1.

Interestingly, all of those victories for the hosts came by exactly one-goal margins, with four finishing 2-1, and that could well be on the cards again today.

We’d expect Brendan Rodgers’ men to bounce back from a couple of poor results in front of their own fans. At the King Power, they’ve won seven of their past 10 outings there in the league as the most common scoreline was 2-1, with it occurring three times.

Leicester To Win And Both Teams To Score

The only two teams to defeat them here were Jurgen Klopp’s unstoppable Liverpool outfit and a Saints side in the midst of a run of four victories from five unbeaten outings, as they saw off all of Villa, Chelsea, Spurs and the Foxes themselves in that run.

Both teams have scored in six of Leicester’s last eight outings stretching back into December, while that’s been the case in three of the Hammers’ last five outings, with the only times they didn’t see this coming against a woeful Bournemouth outfit where they won 4-0 and against a resolute Sheffield Utd side.

That’s enough evidence to suggest this encounter will likely see both sides get onto the scoreboard at some point, especially with that head-to-head history.

Correct Score - Leicester 2-1 At 15/2

Leicester To Win And Both Teams To Score At 8/11
