Recent Form

Leicester finally registered a clean sheet midweek as they played out a goalless stalemate hosting PSV in the Europa Conference League. It was the first in five appearances, as defensive issues have plagued the club all season.

They’ve kept just four clean sheets from 17 games in 2022 so far, though Brendan Rodgers will hope the recent returns of Wesley Fofana and the experienced Johnny Evans at the back can help shore up the defence.

The Foxes aren’t without any injury headaches yet though. Most notably, talisman Jamie Vardy remains out of action with a knee complaint, while Wilfred Ndidi is out for the season following surgery on his own knee.

For Palace, Patrick Vieira may be without Michael Olise again after the impressive youngster missed the win over Arsenal, but the Eagles have a number of attacking weapons these days and should find a way to breach Leicester’s defence.

Palace have failed to score in just three of their past 16 games across all competitions, with two of those against Chelsea and Man City. They’ve lost just twice in 14 appearances, to Liverpool and Chelsea, even if this run has included FA Cup wins over lower-division outfits Millwall, Hartlepool and Stoke.

They’re currently enjoying a run of five wins from seven unbeaten outings, a spell which has seen them record impressive wins over Watford (4-1), Everton (4-0) and Arsenal (3-0), as well as taking a point off Man City.

Palace Draw No Bet

Even away from Selhurst Park, Palace are unbeaten on their travels in 2022, taking wins off Millwall, Watford and Wolves, as well as securing points on the road at Brighton, Norwich and Brentford.

Although they haven’t had too many tough trips so far, of their five away defeats in the league this season, four have come against quality opponents in Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd and Tottenham.

Leicester have taken victory in just one of their last five games in all competitions (W1-D2-L2) and so the visitors look worth getting behind.

Leicester may have lost just once at the King Power in 13 matches across all competitions (W9-D3-L1), but aside from an unexpected win over Liverpool back in December, none of the other victories over this period have come against teams as good as an in-form Palace (Legia Warsaw, Watford twice, Newcastle, Randers, Leeds, Rennes and Brentford).
