Recent Form

After a run of three defeats from four winless outings, Leicester have gotten back on track with victories over Sheffield Utd and AEK Athens.

Jamie Vardy’s late strike against the former keeps them just three points adrift of league leaders Tottenham, while the latter result ensured the Foxes took top spot in their Europa League group with a perfect home record.

Zorya, Braga and AEK were taken down by a combined 9-0 scoreline at the King Power, as Brendan Rodgers was able to rest the likes of Vardy and James Maddison amongst others midweek.

Brighton are stuck in a rut and they’ve now gone just W1-D4-L5 in all competitions over their last 10 matches.

The sole win came over an Aston Villa side struggling for form recently, and aside from rescuing a point at home to Liverpool last month, they’ve struggled against quality opposition this term.

Facing current top-half outfits Chelsea, Man Utd (twice), Everton, Liverpool, Spurs and Southampton, they’ve lost six of seven winless matches and conceded at least twice on six occasions, though they did also find the net in six of these as well.

Leicester To Win, Both Teams To Score

Brighton are creating chances and even if they lack a top predator to tuck chances away with ruthless efficiency, they can still grab a goal here. Both teams have scored in eight of their last nine league games, though they remain too open at the back.

The Seagulls have found the net in all five of their league defeats this term, and Leicester are more than capable of outscoring them.

The Foxes have been rather inconsistent as they’re yet to draw home or away, winning seven of 11 matches, but it should swing their way this time with Brighton losing consistently to the better teams.

Graham Potter is still without Adam Lallana and striker Florin Andone, Davy Propper is an injury doubt, but playmaker Alexis Mac Allister could return to the squad.

Meanwhile, Neal Maupay returned last weekend but may have to be content with a place on the bench. Still, Danny Welbeck looks to have been a shrew acquisition, and Leicester haven’t been watertight at the back with injuries undoubtedly playing a role.

Rodgers saw Wilfried Ndidi manage just over an hour on Thursday though he won’t be risked from the start here.

Caglar Soyuncu, Ricardo Pereira, Timothy Castagne and Daniel Amartey are all sidelined at present, though these aren’t new absentees and Rodgers has decent back-up options to call upon.

Leicester To Win At 21/20

Both Teams To Score At 3/4
