There have been nine goals in Leeds last two games, a 3-3 draw with Aston Villa which had one of the best half’s of football we have seen all season and in their most recent game they ended up losing 3-0 to Everton and new manager Frank Lampard in what was Everton's first clean sheet in 13 games.
Marcelo Bielsa has come under some scrutiny this season with his lack of change within his system despite going on runs where they conceded 14 goals over the space of three games.
Ralf Rangnick would have been pleased to get a result against Brighton on Tuesday, especially when his biggest criticism so far has been that the Red Devil’s aren’t winning the games they should be against the lesser teams in the league, draws against Southampton, Burnley, Newcastle only further proves this point and anything but a win here would cement Manchester United fan’s opinion of Rangnick as a manager.

Leeds are known for their attacking football and their high pressing almost manic style of play which often results in a lot of goals, in Leed’s last eight matches only one has resulted in -2.5 goals and five of the eight have had five or more goals which is an unprecedented run of goals, the total number of goals over these eight games is 38 which puts the average match goals at 4.5.
We expect this game to be nothing less, considering that in the three games they have played against one another the results have been 6-2, 0-0 and 5-1.
It is imperative that Ralf Rangnick can get a result in this game, not only because it is a big grudge match for the fans, but the Red’s are about to head into their toughest run of games of the season so far.
After this match they will play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, then they will go to Watford which is their only easy game within this run.
After that, they have City, Tottenham, 2nd Leg of Madrid and then Liverpool to finish the stretch of games off. If they fail to get a result here they will really struggle with confidence going into the CL game.
