Brook had a perfect 36-0 record before coming up against GGG back in 2016, and he’s gone W3-L3 since then as his age starts to catch up with his power and he starts to take on fighters of real quality.
Khan is clearly not of GGG’s level, and also suffered defeat to Terrence Crawford on his way to a still impressive 34-5 record.
Speed v Power
Neither have fought for over a year now, with it being over two since Khan last got into a professional bout, though it’s Khan’s training that has looked the more impressive considering.
Khan has been known for his speed, which has been a problem for his opponents all the way through his career, and there’s no reason why it won’t be an issue for Brook here. While Brook is the more powerful fighter, he may struggle to put up with Khan’s speed, much like the GGG fight.
Fight Go The Distance, Khan Decision Or Technical
Khan hasn’t exactly been a knockout king throughout his career, with just 21 of his 35 fights coming via KO, and is this fight plays out as expected, it would be surprising if it didn’t go the distance.
Khan won’t go after Brook enough to force a stoppage, and he’ll likely use his speed to tire his opponent and keep distance. For that reason, the Khan win by decision or technical looks to provide the most value for us here, with a TKO also seeing that bet land.
