Recent Form
There’s a sense of déjà vu in Leeds. A poor end to the season cost them promotion as they slipped into the play-offs last term and the same threatens to happen this time around.
They remain in the crucial top two slots and are still very much in the race for the title as West Brom have also dropped plenty of points, but having taken just nine from a possible 27 since mid-December, others are now close on their tail with Fulham just three points adrift now.
We’re a tad surprised then to see the visitors so close to evens, especially as Nottingham Forest are next down the table in fourth place, just four points behind Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
They’re W5-D2-L1 since Christmas and although all but one of these games came against teams 10th or lower in the table, they did beat fifth-placed Brentford on the road in the other.

Nottingham Forest +0.5 Asian Handicap
Leeds have struggled for output recently and including a difficult FA Cup tie away at Arsenal, they’ve lost 1-0 or 2-0 in four of their last five now.
With Eddie Nketiah recalled by the Gunners and recent loan capture Jean-Kevin Augustin being left on the bench so far, Bielsa has endured criticism for his selection picks, especially having overlooked young striker Ryan Edmondson for the squad entirely this season.
Augustin can expect to play some part once he’s up to speed with Bielsa’s demands, but it remains to be seen how quickly that integration will take place.
Under 2.5 Goals
Forest haven’t been the division’s entertainers this season at the City Ground and despite their high league position, only seven teams have scored fewer goals per game on home turf.
Since late August, eight of 12 matches at this venue have seen a maximum of two goals, while home or away, each of their past five encounters with the top eight in the table have gone under that threshold, with the last four of these seeing just one goal or none at all.
Up against the same bracket of opposition, Leeds have seen under 2.5 goals land in seven of their last eight, as they won just two of these games with both victories coming at Elland Road.
