Sunday’s four o’clock kick-off sees Manchester City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. After a 2-0 victory at Goodison Park midweek, City moved to the top of the table on goal difference, keeping hopes alive of clinching back to back Premier League titles. As the battle for the throne with their northern neighbours continues to divide the league’s attention, City face an inconsistent Chelsea side this weekend.
Coming off the back of a stellar redemption performance with loan signing Gonzalo Higuain, the Blues hope to prove they may still be a force to fear. Coming into this game, Chelsea have benefited from a full seven days preparation and they have won three of the last five Premier League matches against City, keeping Chelsea fans optimistic about a win on Sunday.
