Although they pushed Liverpool hard, Spurs faltered once more as they succumbed to defeat at Anfield, leaving them with just three victories from their last 13 matches across all competitions in the wake of an opening day win over Aston Villa (W3-D5-L5).
However, it’s their away form that’s truly alarming as they’ve gone a pitiful W2-D4-L12 since late January, with both wins coming in Europe, leaving them poor value to back in the outright market.

Brighton’s late turnaround last weekend means five of Everton’s last six league outings have ended in defeat, with that run including losses at the hands of Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Burnley as well.
Neither side can really offer any convincing or positive reasons to back them, with each of their prospects more reliant upon the other’s struggles.
However, we do fancy the prospects of a reasonably high output in this game. Four of Everton’s last seven league matches have seen a minimum of four strikes, as the Toffees kept just the solitary clean sheet across these fixtures.
Meanwhile, since the start of September nine of Spurs’ 11 games across all competitions have seen at least three goals, while five saw four or more.
Over 2.5 Goals
The chances of an action-packed encounter are boosted if recent head-to-head meetings are anything to go by. Each of the last five since March 2017 have featured at least three goals, with all but one seeing a minimum of four as they averaged out at 4.8 per game.
Defensively, these two sides have hardly excelled this term. However, at the same time, only the current top four have outgunned Spurs at the other end of the pitch, while Everton do have some talented individuals capable of registering on the board.
The hosts are also missing defensive midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin and and centre-back Yerry Mina, while Danny Rose is serving a suspension for the visitors, so backing goals certainly looks profitable.

Harry Kane has played his part in trying to keep Tottenham competitive, with 10 goals in 13 appearances across all competitions as he’s maintained his consistency as others have failed to find their edge.
Given the England captain has netted a brace in each of his past four encounters with Everton, he must surely fancy his chances of pilling more misery on Marco Silva’s backline.
