Everton have only picked up a single point from three games on the road this term following a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Bournemouth, but they continue to deliver at Goodison Park where they’ve won both outings to date over Watford and Wolves, as well as their previous four against, Burnley, Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
In fact, since 2016/17, they’ve now won an incredible 25 of 32 unbeaten home matches against those that either finished the season in the bottom-half of the table or are currently there this campaign.

Chris Wilder’s men can count themselves highly fortunate however as they nearly lost both of those fixtures. First, Billy Sharp netted an 88th-minute equalizer at the Vitality Stadium and then Kurt Zouma scored an 89th-minute own goal in their encounter at Stamford Bridge, so we’d expect their luck on their travels to run out here.

They’re averaging a goal per game this season at the moment and so there should be no surprise to see them find the net in defeat.
However, given Chelsea are the only side to score two past them so far and they held the joint-best defensive record in the Championship last term alongside Middlesbrough, we’ll back the hosts to claim a narrow 2-1 victory.

Moise Kean arrived at Everton from Juventus with much fanfare this summer but the 19-year-old is yet to get off the mark for his new club.
Instead, the goalscoring mantle has fallen to 22-year-old Richarlison, who is now in his third season in English football already, as he’s netted half of their home goals to date this season.
He’s scored nine times in 16 home matches for the Toffees where he’s played at least 50 minutes since signing for the club, as nine of his 15 strikes for them have come at Goodison overall.
Given his teammates are lacking the same levels of consistency at the sharp end, he appears a solid proposition to register at some stage.
