John Stones has a mistake or two in him but is absent through injury anyway, meaning that Harry Maguire will likely find himself partnered with either Michael Keane or Joe Gomez.
However, the former displayed worrying uncertainty on the ball in the last round of fixtures, while the latter may be a tad ring rusty having found Joel Matip hard to dislodge at Liverpool.

England have now seen at least three goals in seven of their last nine outings over 90 minutes and with a blistering attack and a rocky defence, it’s hard to look past that occurring once again.
A 5-1 victory away to Montenegro demonstrated that they’re capable of running riot away from Wembley too, while the competition for places and the pressure invited upon themselves hosting Kosovo will make it easier for Southgate to warn his squad against complacency.
Further, the Czech Republic’s encounters with the big guns of world football in recent times have typically featured a minimum of three goals too.
They’ve lost all six games with Brazil, England, Uruguay, Germany (twice) and Belgium since October 2016, as the only game that failed to see three strikes was the clash with Uruguay.

With goals on the agenda, it’s inevitably Kane and Sterling that catch the eye. The captain has seven in his past seven appearances for England, while the Man City man has eight from eight. For club and country combined this season, Kane has averaged a goal every 97 minutes and Sterling every 98 minutes, but at the bigger price of the two, the latter appears to hold greater value in the market.
