Things should be a little calmer at Stamford Bridge than on Tuesday night, though that doesn’t mean this will be a sedate affair by any stretch of the imagination.

Palace have typically performed well against ‘Big Six’ outfits away from home, where they’re afforded space to counter on the break, and adding Leicester into the mix, the visitors went W4-D2-L4 across those 10 aforementioned matches.
In fact, against anyone in the division, Roy Hodgson’s men have picked up 1.12 points per game (ppg) at Selhurst Park since the start of last season and 1.5 ppg on their travels, an increase of 34%.

Given the ridiculously offensive nature of Chelsea’s performances, where they’ve dazzled going forwards but kept just three clean sheets from 18 matches in all tournaments since the season began, we’d expect the visitors to register against them.
In fact, both teams have scored in four of five head-to-heads since April 2017, as well as five of six clashes at Stamford Bridge since the Eagles returned to the top flight.

Despite winning eight of their last 10 in all competitions, Chelsea have reserved their best results for away matches and back at the Bridge, they’re just W3-D3-L3 this season as the victories came over Grimsby, Brighton and Newcastle.
Their midweek exertions are hardly going to help their cause ahead of this fixture, with Mason Mount a major doubt having sustained an ankle injury, while Jorginho is suspended for this encounter, depriving Lampard the services of two of his key performers this term. With that in mind, Palace look a huge price to get something from this game and are big enough to back +1.5 on the Asian handicap.
