An exact replay of last years’ third round fixture between these two sides sees Forest travel south to Stamford Bridge to try and correct the 2-0 scoreline they succumbed to last time.
The Tricky Trees are ticking along nicely in the Championship and are currently looking in a solid position for a play-off spot, though Leeds and West Brom are a fair margin ahead of the rest of the pack in first and second respectively.

We doubt it’ll be a repeat of that kind of scoreline, but we’d still make Chelsea the strong favourites.
The Blues have won each of their five outings against lower league opposition by an aggregate scoreline of 19-3 since February 2018, with the only game that they didn’t win by more than a single strike coming against Derby when Lampard was in the opposite dugout.
Moreover, the only one of these the ex-England international was managing for the London side saw them overcome League Two outfit Grimsby Town 7-1 and although the visitors are a much better side than that, we can see Chelsea covering the one-goal handicap yet again in this fixture.
