He’s also chipped in with two assists, meaning he’s been directly involved in 36% of his sides’ total output this season and they may struggle to be as prolific without him running the show from midfield.
In fact, the hosts have seen eight of their 11 games here feature more than two goals when he’s started since arriving back in May 2018, while this decrease to just six of 11 when he’s failed to make the starting line-up in that time.

Aside from a blip at the end of August, where Ross County went down 4-1 ad 3-0 to Livingston and Aberdeen respectively, they’ve kept it relatively tight at the back, conceding just four goals in their other six outings.
If they can remain as resolute this weekend against a Celtic side who have had the wind knocked out of their sails in recent weeks, we could be on for a tighter, low-scoring affair than most may anticipate.
