Saunders is an incredibly skilled fighter by his own merit and has the effervescent Tyson Fury in his corner too which is only going to help confidence.
The real criticism of Saunders in his career so far is that he’s yet to face anyone of immense quality in recent years, with David Lemieux the only notable opponent of his last five, and there are fears this could be a step too far for the Brit.

Five of Canelo’s last seven fights have gone to a decision (excluding Avni Yildirim who retired), and with three American judges, we’d be surprised to see a points decision go the way of Saunders, so Canelo on points looks the best value here.
