Brentford struggled in their previous game against Liverpool, with Thomas Frank’s side only registering one shot on target throughout the course of the game, whilst Klopp’s Liverpool managed 13.
The Bees found it extremely hard to get that final ball through to the likes of Yoane Wissa or Ivan Toney, so they could apply the finishing touches that were necessary. There have been rumours that Christian Eriksen might make his Premier League return with Brentford and due to the large Danish contingency (eight first-team players and Thomas Frank) at Brentford, this deal looks more likely than not.
Manchester United were 2-0 up after Bruno Fernandes secured his brace in the 67th minute against Aston Villa, so opposition manager Steven Gerrard knew something had to change and brought on loanee Philippe Coutinho, which turned out to be the pivotal moment in the game.
Villa came back to draw the game 2-2 thanks to goals from Jacob Ramsey and Coutinho. It was a strange game to watch because Manchester United looked like they may have put some of their previous troubles to bed, but in the last 20 minutes, it looked like none of the players wanted to be there and had lost their sense of urgency.
Ralf Rangnick needs to change the attitude amongst these players, or the Red Devils won’t see any of the success that their fans crave.

Both teams haven’t had an ideal run of form coming into this game. Man Utd have only won a solitary clash across their past four league outings (3-1 Burnley) and were even held to a draw against Newcastle, whilst Brentford have lost four of their last five.
The two teams have had some defensive issues this season and the last time Brentford played a game without conceding was against Everton (1-0) on the 28th November.
Man Utd have only had two games since the start of November where they haven’t conceded a goal, coming against Crystal Palace and Norwich, both of which they were victors by a modest 1-0 scoreline.
Both teams to score seems like a good value bet at the moment, with that occurring in 52% of Brentford’s games and in 60% of Man Utd’s.
The Bees have scored and conceded an average of 1.2 goals in every home match this year and the Red Devils have scored 1.5 and conceded 1.4 across their away matches this season.
It is yet to be seen if Cristiano Ronaldo will return for this game, but if he does, we think BTTS is the best market.
