Norwich hit the headlines last month with their sensational 3-2 win over Man City, but subsequent defeats have left them with five losses from their last six matches, culminating in a dreadful 5-1 embarrassment at home to Aston Villa.
That means they’ve now conceded at least twice in all but one of their eight fixtures so far, leaving them with the worst defensive record in the division.
Bournemouth To Win And Over 3.5 Goals
The Canaries are hardly short on firepower however and in fact, five of their eight outings have featured a minimum of four goals, while half saw five or more.
Similarly, five of Bournemouth’s last six matches have also witnessed at least four strikes, with this game pitting two of the divisions’ entertainers together as Eddie Howe and Daniel Farke know no other way of playing than on the front foot.
Both sides have a string of injury concerns ahead of this fixture. Bournemouth are without David Brooks, Charlie Daniels, Chris Mepham and Junior Stanislas, while Adam Smith and Dan Gosling are doubts. However, all but Chris Mepham have been out for some time and it hasn’t prevented them from picking up points.
Norwich’s problems appear more crippling and it certainly affected them last time out as both first and second choice goalkeepers were ruled out, which could well be the case once again leaving Michael McGovern between the sticks, though he did manage to save a penalty and make seven saves during their 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Villa, which goes to show how defensively frail the Canaries were.
Norwich Injury Concerns
Norwich’s problems don’t end their however and see no signs of abating just yet. Captain Grant Hanley and fellow centre-backs Christoph Zimmermann and Timm Klose remain sidelined, forcing Daniel Farke to pair defensive midfielder Ibrahim Amadou with rookie defender Ben Godfrey at the back.
Further, experienced midfielder Alexander Tettey is still struggling with a groin strain, speedy winger Onel Hernandez is nursing a knee complaint and influential youngster Todd Cantwell is currently being assessed on a hamstring strain that forced him to withdraw from England’s under-21 squad, while there are plenty of others too numerous to list unavailable beyond those main men.

The club’s torrid time with Injuries has certainly limited their capacity, and away from home where they’ve struggled to deliver positive results, their hosts look like they ought to wrap up the full three points.
In fact, Norwich’s current three-game losing streak has seen them behind at both half-time and full-time in each, as has been the case in all four away matches this season as both of their victories came at Carrow Road.
