Recent Form
Leicester made it eight straight victories following their 4-1 thumping of Aston Villa at the weekend, with Jamie Vardy making it eight Premier League games he’s scored in a row now, approaching his 2015/16 record of 11 consecutive matches where he found the net.
The Foxes currently sit in a middle ground between both Liverpool and Man City at the head of the table, eight points behind the Reds and six ahead of the Citizens, and they’ll certainly feel like they’ve got the pick of the fixtures this weekend hosting a miserable Norwich side.
The Canaries sit just two points ahead of rock-bottom Watford at the base of the table and it doesn’t look like they’re going anywhere soon with this fixture coming up.
Indeed, they’ve picked up just four points from their eight trips so far this term, as their solitary victory came over an Everton side still led by Marco Silva at the time, while the stalemate came at the Vitality Stadium.
Considering Bournemouth are in the midst of a run of just one win from their last 11 outings across all competitions, losing seven of them, that result was nothing to write home about either.
Leicester -1 Handicap
Brendan Rodgers has now won all three of his fixtures at Leicester against promoted outfits by a combined scoreline of 9-3, as they led at the break in each of those too.
However, having only been ahead at both half-time and full-time in five of their 16 matches so far this term, we’d rather avoid that market.
Instead, it’s the handicap that appeals at the prices. Rodgers has won all nine of his matches against bottom-seven sides since rocking up in the midlands, winning all but two of those by at least two clear goals, including six of the last seven.
In fact, those seven fixtures have yielded an aggregate scoreline of 26-4 and the handicap looks like an absolute banker.
Kelechi Iheanacho To Score Anytime
We’d like to combine that market with Kelechi Iheanacho to score. Of course, the spotlight will be on Vardy, but the Nigerian international has been sensational when given the chance this season with a goal in all four matches he’s featured in across all competitions.
That includes goals in two of Leicester’s last three matches as he came off the bench against Everton and started at Villa, while he’s averaging a goal every 44.3 minutes, and a goal or an assists every 29.5 minutes. At the current prices against such a weak outfit, we’d have to have him onside.
Kelechi Iheanacho To Score Anytime At 10/11
