Wolves Recent Form
Europa League participation has certainly taken its toll on a thin squad for Wolves, but after registering their first league win of the season at the seventh attempt this past weekend, they’ll hope to continue in a similar vein here.

Wolves can at least take comfort from the poor start to the season their hosts have made. In fact, Besiktas have just one victory from six Super Lig fixtures so far domestically, as across all competitions they’re currently enduring a run of three defeats from four winless games.
That includes a 4-2 reverse from a winning position when they visited Slovan Bratislava in their opening European fixture, courtesy of a second half equalizer followed by two stoppage time goals to complete the turnaround.
The Draw
With that in mind, we can see why the bookies have found these two hard to split and the draw appears to offer the best option with regards to the match outcome. However, there’s also good reason to back both sides to find the net. Wolves have conceded in 21 of 24 away matches since late October 2018 now, as two of the exceptions have come against Championship outfit Bristol City in last seasons’ FA Cup and Armenian minnows Pyunik at the start of August.

Meanwhile, both teams have scored in each of Besiktas’ last five outings, as three of the last four have seen a minimum of five goals as Besiktas conceded a whopping 12 times.
Excluding the play-offs and qualifying rounds where weaker teams can often be encountered, Besiktas have seen both teams find the net in 13 of 16 home fixtures in European competition since 2015/16, with all seven stalemates over this period seeing both teams register.
