Where to watch the Cheltenham Festival?
The majority of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival will be available to watch on ITV1 throughout the week. The first six races on each seven-race card of the Festival will be shown on ITV’s main channel.
Each day’s first race will kick-off at 1.20pm and the final race to be shown on ITV will occur at 4.40pm.
The feature race on every day - Champion Hurdle (Tuesday), Champion Chase (Wednesday, Stayers’ Hurdle (Thursday), and Cheltenham Gold Cup (Friday) - is scheduled to take place at 4.00pm, and each race throughout the day will be separated by a 40-minute gap.
The seventh race on each day, alongside every race across the week at Cheltenham, will also be shown on Racing TV. That final contest will occur at 5.20pm every day.
What time will the scheduled programming begin?
ITV will have two Cheltenham Festival-oriented programmes on each raceday; The Opening Show and their ITV Racing action.
ITV Racing will begin their coverage at 12:45pm each day, 35 minutes before the start of the first race, and conclude at 5.00pm.
As for The Opening Show, there will be a programme each day on ITV4 that starts at 9.00am and finishes one hour later at 10.00am.
Similarly, Live Racing will begin on Racing TV at 12.45pm on each day of the Cheltenham Festival, though that programme will come to an end at 5.30pm.
Racing TV will also have Mark Your Card beginning at 10.00am each day.
Who will be presenting at the Cheltenham Festival?
Both ITV Racing and Racing TV are set to have their strongest squads of presenters at Prestbury Park.
For the terrestrial television team, the likes of Ed Chamberlain, Oli Bell, Matt Chapman, Mick Fitzgerald, Luke Harvey, Richard Hoiles and more will be guiding you through the action on ITV.
As for Racing TV, a combination of Nick Luck, Lydia Hislop, Tom Stanley, and more will be taking on their coverage.
Ruby Walsh, Rishi Persad, and Megan Nicholls all work for both ITV and Racing TV, so they will certainly be showing up on our screens throughout the week one way or another.
Where can I catch up on Cheltenham?
ITVX will have each day’s programme online and on the app, so it’ll be easy to catch up on any missed Cheltenham Festival action.
Racing TV will also have Racing Replay every morning, so from Wednesday onwards, you will be able to catch up on the main races and interviews from the day prior.
Furthermore, replays and highlights will be available on the relevant Racing TV/ITV Racing YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X accounts.
